History[]
The true identity of Ye Qingxian is Xiao Zi, the daughter of Ye Yishui and Ye Xian. Her name was given by her grandfather, Ye Fan, to safeguard future generations from the darkness that awaited them after the end of the Dharma era. Emperor Ye Tian intervened in time and space, leaving Xiao Zi in ancient times, hoping to seek help from Emperor Huang Tian. However, to avoid karmic consequences, she changed her name to Ye Qingxian.
Ye Qingxian, the extraordinary descendant of Ye Fan, was sent back to ancient times to bridge the gap between the Celestial Emperors Huang and Ye, bearing a tremendous karmic burden. Due to mysterious interference from the ancient ancestor resulting in continuous reductions in her cultivation, she eventually fell into ruin. Yet, Ye Fan resurrected her to fight alongside him in the final battle, completing her path.
In "Perfect World", Ye Qingxian is a mysterious character who appeared midway through the story, helping Shi Hao without revealing her true identity.[1] When Ye Fan entered the celestial realm, he deduced the reason for Emperor Huang Tian's disappearance. Years earlier, Emperor Huang Tian had sacrificed himself, embodying extreme evil for the sake of the celestial realm. Only a few, including Ye Fan, knew the truth. Together, they opened a temporal passage, allowing Ye Fan to kill the dormant extreme evil.

On the other side, Ye Yishui's daughter, Ye Qingxian, was sent to uncover the truth about Emperor Huang Tian during those years. Before Ye Qingxian's departure, she already knew that Ye Fan had faced extreme evil during that period, which had destroyed the soul and could only be revived with the third-cycle life medicine. The news couldn't be transmitted, but by resurrecting Ye Fan, there was hope to convey the information to Emperor Huang Tian of that time, eliminating the danger at that critical moment. This vital information could determine destruction or salvation.
In the novel "Holy Ruins" Ye Qingxian's blood is influenced by the Empress, and her story intertwines with the blood-stained land. After millions of years, the demon's body reappears when Chu Feng, now the Immortal Emperor, stumbles upon her body and resurrects her with his immortal power. After resurrection, Yao Yao regains some of Ye Qingxian's memories and, at the same time, reaches the Immortal King level due to her rebirth. After many eras spent meditating in the chaos, Yao Yao also becomes an Immortal Emperor just before Chu Feng's sacrifice ceremony. In the grand finale, Yao Yao and Ye Qingxian separate into two distinct individuals.
